Discovertansania is a family driven business. We provide you with excellent accomodation for employees of NGO´s in Dar Es Salaam. All properties are family owned. Our mission is to place Tanzania in a better view for foreigners as an exotic holiday destination. You also get the opportunity to experience the rich culture of Tanzania together with the locals and learn more about this great country. The inspiration for starting this family business evolved during our CEO, Mombeki Lutinwa´s 6 months internship in a family-run company (Mingoyo Ltd., Maridadi Timberwokrs Ltd., Maridadi Ltd.) in Dar Es Salaam in 2015.

Kevin Mombeki Lutinwa is an Entrepreneur with extensive working experience in Finance and Accounting. As CEO, Mombeki is responsible for the finances and booking aspect of the discovertansania.
He is based in Berlin, Germany where he is currently working with EarthTV, a Berlin based Television Station as Finance and Back-office Support.

Asha Rashid Kawawa is our local Managing Coordinator at discovertansania. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Asha was the Director of Finance & Administration for Mingoyo Ltd. and Maridadi Timberworks limited.
She is passionate about community development and has worked with diverse organizations such as Project Abroad in providing their volunteers with accommodation.
Asha Rashid Kawawa is the onsite contact person at the guest-house. You can be rest assured to experience impeccable customer service. She coordinates the properties and takes care of the day to day smooth running of all our operations and processes.
