There is much to discover on Zanzibar. The old slave market is historical, but still shows a moving insight into the history of the island. The spice market enlivens Stonetown every day, from all alleys people fock to the old market place to trade vanilla, cloves, cardamon or cinnamon.
On the endlessly wide and white beaches the old dhows pass by until late in the evening. Within the scope of a day trip, the entire island can be circumnavigated in these typical East African wooden sailing boats with the distinctive triangular sail.
